Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and Foxconn are four technological companies competing to sell their different technological and futurist product to the mass market. Some of the products of these companies directly overlap with each other while others might not. These are the world best known technological company website and have a major stake in the technological world. The website is the face of the company and shows how they want to reveal their company to the world. I will examine these company websites to see which site is most effective and which site is least effective.
Apple
Apple’s approach to the web design of their homepage has been kind of an advertising board that always shows big ads of their latest product. There is also a large navigation bar at the top, which shows their businesses: Mac, iPod, iPhone, Watch, TV and Music, followed by a few important links, such as the Online Store and Support pages. The navigation bar also incorporates a search field. The main ad at the top is large and covers entire page and lack any content. There are no distractions by sidebars, notices or extra navigation items. However, there are page index at the end of the page.

They feature a similar style of ad at the top, designed to have the attention of the user. There are large images, and only one out of 2 ads is shown at a time. This potentially weakens the effectiveness of the two hidden ads since the visitor has to work to see them. Right at the top of the page is the navigation to their various different Store and Products, together with Search, Buy, Support and Sign In option.
