World History Some people thought Confucius was a form of religion, and was not a real person, but he indeed was a real person. Confucius traveled along the Far East, he was a great teacher, and he left a path behind him when he passed away. Confucius believed that everyone should have compassion for everything, especially towards people. Confucius grew up as a simple boy, but later turned into a bright teacher. He set an example of how we should act in more than one way.

Confucius taught many people about the proper speech, about the government, and about the refined arts (Riegel, 2002). Going along with the arts, he taught the six arts. The six arts included ritual, music, archery, chariot- riding, calligraphy, and computation (Riegel, 2002). Confucius had many teaching ethics, and his teaching ethics were really like no other. Confucius would ask his class questions, he would then cite passages, and then would wait until his students thought about it and eventually got an answer (Riegel, 2002). Confucius would think of the questions, or he would go and get very important lessons from the Book of Songs (Riegel, 2002). Confucius was known for his teachings and also as to what they meant. Confucius taught values to every pupils and some of those values included; respect your parents, be loyal to your government, keep yourself in society, and the farmers are to remain farmers (Asia Society, 2014). You were to achieve moral qualities for yourself, compose yourself humanely, and to have responsibility while in public (Riegel, 2002). Confucius traveled, and really found his calling as a teacher when he was in his early life. Even though Confucius was a teacher he got involved slightly with government work and politics. Then once Confucius passed away, slowly his teachings were forgotten. Confucius hoped they would live on, but they came to a halt just before the 21st century.
