For almost a decade the United States has been trying to acquire a form of healthcare that is good for all Americans. This insurance should provide quality care and protect the community from financial expenses due to treatments and or medicines. The goal is to provide everyone in our country access to healthcare services, health educational services and treatment regardless of their income or status; not all services are covered by the insurance but it provides some form of relief to our population. …show more content…

It also provides good/quality healthcare regardless of age, gender, income or ethnicity. They are proactive with epidemics and pandemics involving more than one country, as it entails finding a cure for the illness together. The EU invests in healthcare by implementing good practices for chronic diseases, promoting the importance on vaccinations and access to medicines awhile providing improvement on quality and patient safety.
Europeans have the freedom of movement. The patients can move between member states which is usually triggered by dissatisfaction with the health care received in their home country. This is possible if the member has their EU benefits card.
