In request for proposal to be qualified as a Sterile Processing Technician Program. My career objective has always been to work in a setting where I find propose in caring for others. To be a member of the healthcare world has always been a long time goal. While searching for employment I came across the program in which I believe this will be a great opportunity working toward my goal. My previous employment obligations were working with individuals in a direct support setting with DDS Residential Group Homes.
Jem Finch In Harper Lee’s To Kill a MockingBird has a very large impact on the U.S because it is basically the sum up of what happened in the south in the 1930’s. The 1930’s was the time of the great depression and many people were poor and many people were laid off because companies couldn 't pay them. In the small town of Maycomb, Alabama it shows some of the poverty some of the families lived in and the racism in the south during this time.

The great depression was a time when the stock market crashed causing many people to lose their jobs and homes. This novel is based on the time around the Great Depression. There were many historical influences in the book To Kill a Mockingbird such as the Jim Crow laws, mob mentality and the Scottsboro trials.

Historical lens The novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is a great description of how the social norms and expectations of the black population were in southern Alabama back in the 1930s during the Jim Crow era (which really enforced segregation). Racial conflicts happen a lot in To Kill A Mockingbird,From the perspective of the narrator Scout Finch who had to learn over time that not only are black people treated poorly but they are people too. In the novel she sees how people treated Atticus like pure garbage for even defending them.
The book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee involves the adventures of Scout and Jem and the plenty of lessons they learned throughout. In the beginning of the story, Scout, just a mere 6 years old, was getting ready for her first day of school. On the first day she had such a wide variety of knowledge that she frazzled the teacher. Despite their knowledge, throughout the story Scout and Jem learn a heap of lessons that the world can also apply to their own lives. While there are countless differences between the time period of To Kill A Mockingbird and today, there are also numerous similarities.
Life was hard for some African Americans in the 1930s. During the 1930s blacks and whites were separated. In schools black children and white children were separated. Water fountains, classrooms, and bathrooms were places that had segregation.

The first example in the novel and the world is Jim Crow laws. Jim Crow was a way to keep black people less worthy than the white people.
This was a time where prejudice was around and how white´s were ignorant to others. How white´s were racist and rude, especially to colored people. Black´s were scared of white people because of all the criticizing and crucialness. Even though white people were ranked higher than everyone else, both white and black people had hard times trying to maintain their families. Civil rights was also a part of the 1930´s like how colored people tried to gain equal rights for everyone.
