The Communist Manifesto Marx and Engels oppose the bourgeois because according to them‚ the modern bourgeois has generally established led to the establishment of new classes‚ new conditions by which oppression has been promoted‚ and some new forms of struggle that have only replaced the ones that existed before the up rise of the modern bourgeois society. The physicians‚ the lawyers‚ the priests‚ the poets‚ and the men of science have all been converted to become the paid labors of the bourgeoisie. In addition to the occupations‚ family has also been impacted negatively by the bourgeoisie. They point out that it has torn away the sentimental veil from the family and the family has now been turned to be based on money relations. The bourgeois family is generally based on private gain and capital. They point out that the bourgeois generally see their wives as instruments of production that are supposed to be exploited and no other important use. The other negative aspect of the bourgeoisie is that their gigantic means of exchange and production have led to over-production‚ which has been caused by too much means of subsistence‚ too much civilization‚ too much commerce‚ and too much industry that have all resulted from the bourgeois over-production. It has also compelled other countries to be bourgeois because the conditions that they set from the cheap commodity prices forces countries to adopt their mode lest they become extinct.
