In the stories “Seventh Grade” by Gary Soto and “Stolen Day” by Sherwood Anderson” there are similarities and differences between Victor and the narrator’s problems, lessons, and character traits.

The characters traits of the two characters are: Victor he is foolish, shy, and nervous. the boy he is acting scared, and confused. They are both different the similarities to the two characters are that they both are shy, scared, and funny.

The problems the boy and Victor had was that the boy thought he had a disease and was going to die. Victor liked Teresa and tried to impress her by lying to her. The similarities of the two problems is that they are both scared and need help.

They both have different and similar character traits because they both were not the same person and they don’t have the same problems. Victor’s character traits are: shy, nervous, and foolish. the boy’s character traits are: shy, scared,and acting. Victor is shy because he doesn’t want to embarrass himself in front of Teresa. the boy is scared because he thinks he is going to die. Victor doesn’t want to be embarrassed because he likes Teresa and wants her to like him. the boy is scared because he thinks he has a disease and is going to die. Victor likes Teresa because he’s like her. The boy thinks he has a disease because his neighbor has the disease and he thinks now he has it.Teresa is like Victor because she is taking French. the boy was at the pond by the boy with his disease and made him think now he has it.The boy and Victor both have similar and different character …show more content…

The problem Victor learned is that he shouldn't have lied because Teresa wants him to tutor her. The boy learned that he should of told his parents right away. Victor knows now not to lie because he doesn’t know French. The boy is getting laughed at by his family. Victor is going to have to tell Teresa that he lied to her. The boy is going to have to tell his family that he is scared and is going to die. Teresa is probably going to be mad at Victor. The boy parents are going to have to understand that he is scared. Victor is then going to be mad that he lied to her. The boy’s family is then going to have to tell the boy that he is going to be alright. Victors going to have to tell Teresa he is sorry. The boy is then going to not going to be scared any more. There are similarities and differences in the problems they have
