What kind of features would you describe such a type of society?
In our society we are allowed to pick if we continue our education or go into the work force and have the freedom to choose our own job and what we want to do. Another way our societies are different is that in your group that you are put in you all live together unlike in our society we get to choose where we and who we live with. Also our societies differ are from how emotions are allowed to be showed in Anthem you must be happy all the time it is forbidden to be unhappy. Compared to or society we are allowed to show all different types of emotions like happiness , Anger, lust and many more.
Imagine exploring a new country and coming across huge stones placed perfectly in a circle. Stones that weigh around 50 tons and placed side by side and on top of each other. This place actually exist and is called Stonehenge. It has been a mystery every since the discovery. Archaeologists have determined that the site dates back to around 3100 BC.
Chiefdoms are characterized by hereditary rule and people are ranked according to the family they belong to. Alternatively, North America also had tribal societies that were governed by consensus and tribal councils during the Woodland
The Neolithic Revolution and The Silk Road are the two topics that I think had the greatest influence on people in terms of globalization. I think that the Neolithic Revolution was a great influence on people because it changed the way humans lived forever. Instead of having to move around constantly to find your food while also carrying what food you had already caught, which also can go bad quickly, you could stay in once place and store up as much food as you can that doesn’t go bad as quickly and have a lot of excess food to share. So if some of the people went out hunting and some just stayed back and farmed, there would be plenty of food to go around and could be shipped around the world for those who can’t get food as easily.
Society as a whole is something you make of it. If one wants to denounce the society they live in because it is “phony” that is because they’ve made the world around them phony. The character of Holden Caulfield in Catcher in the Rye is a prime example of someone being stuck in the idea that society is unchanging. Society is just how a person perceives the world in front of them. The eye of the beholder is the one that creates the society of their choice.
The diversity across the globe has contributed to the social changes that vary from one region to the other based on religion, politics, and ethnicity. Society is made up living individuals, who have the capability to reason for themselves, and this is the genesis of changes within the society. Development in any field is caused by a change from the normal way of doing things. Therefore, social change can be described as a transformation in a society way of conducting themselves. These changes have various impacts economically, socially and politically.
The lord and lady of a would be a sign of nobility, but would also have a huge threat on them which is why they had to build imposing stone castles to protect them, their serfs, and their families. Inside of the castle, there was a building called a keep, and that is where the noblest man and his family lived. Inside of this magnificent keep, is a dance hall, dining room, private solars (where the family would play games and talk at the end of the night), and a great hall that was used as an office. Inside the castle, there would also be stables, a big kitchen, and servants quarters. The servants were important as they did most of the daily work for the castle.
The Neolithic Revolution’s innovations were characterized by what is considered civilization. Before this time period people moved around a lot or were nomadic because they were always in search of food. This changed during the Neolithic Revolution because people were able to stay in one place because people started to domesticate animals, cultivate their own crops, and irrigation system were developed which made it possible to move water into the fields from a water source. During this time period other simple technologies were created such as tools made of metal, calendars and even plows. All of these new inventions made it possible for people to settle down and form a society.
The Neolithic Revolution was started in 9000 BCE in the middle east which then was spread out to other countries. The Neolithic revolution was considered a turning point because people change the way they lived. The changes that were made from Paleolithic to Neolithic were that people were nomadic, which then changed to sedentary in the Neolithic revolution. Another turning point was that after the Paleolithic Era people had found agricultural land in the middle east that was good for farming which made people settle permanently.
Archeologist and researcher had puzzled over the mysteries of Stonehenge for many years and Stonehenge has been subjected to many speculations about its origin, transportation and function, ranging from the academic worlds of archaeology to explanations from mythology and the paranormal. Just as the late Professor Richard Atkinson said, " there is one short, simple and perfectly correct answer. We do not know and we shall probably never know". (Bradshaw Foundation, n.d ) I. Stonehenge is located in southern England, is one of the best known, most contemplatedgmonuments in the world . it consists of,approximately 100 massive upright stones placed in a circle formation.
At the top of the hierarchy, you have the Oracle of the Hills and Caves as well as the elders. People would go to consult the Oracle whenever they had misfortune upon them and clans would never go to war unless they had consulted the Oracle first. This shows the power that the Oracle had, which comes from the belief of the people that the Oracle could tell the future or connect them to the deceased. The elders (only men) were the oldest and most experienced people in the village, therefore making them the most respected. Next came men who were ordered depending on how many titles they had, how wealthy they were, and how strong they were.
Coming from the United States, where is seems as though the majority of cities have evolved and adapted to the fluctuating, modern world around them, I was initially astonished as to learn that Brugge is considered to be a city that hasn 't really changed since its Golden Age during the fifteenth century. For example, while the city of Boston has its historical buildings like Faneuil Hall and Old North Church, it also has a bustling, metropolitan aspect, with its financial district and Skywalk Observatory. However, it wasn 't until I found myself in the medieval city of Brugge that I realized how frozen in time Brugge seemed to be. Upon arriving with the group at the Brugge train station, surrounded by Starbucks, Panos, and automated ticket machines, I didn’t get the vibe that Brugge was necessarily a vintage city. Though, after the fifteen-minute to the actual city, I did feel a bit like I was plucked up and dropped in back in medieval times.
A society stands for a group of people living or staying together in a given geographical area, who share common beliefs and maybe laws that govern their interactions. This clearly implies that the society and culture are already established and education is the aspect that will have to come gradually and fix in the system. Education has to
