Curtis graduated from University of North Carolina with a master degree in counseling. He landed a job as an case manager at a mental health center in South Carolina. While coordinating his client's care, he learned something that would stick with him the rest of his life. "Comprehensive care is just as effective and without it you will miss out on giving clients the care they needed" (Shallcross, 2013).
