Action: MHP called Tara Peevy, RN at the MUSC Foster Care Clinic after MHS explained leaving several messages. Ms. Strong explain emailing the referral form to the clinic. Machelle Green explain receieing the referral form, however unable to reach the DSS worker for additional infromaiton.

One thing that all businesses have in common is that they have a mission or vision statement that they use to define themselves and what they are about. The Arrow Head Medical Center in Colton, California has a mission statement that is not strong, is very generic, and for the reasons is probably why it is not displayed anywhere on their website. To give them a stronger identity to the community, and more tangible goal to reach for internally, it is necessary to create a new mission statement for this organization. Upon being hired by Allied Barton Security in December of 2014, I was contracted with Dignity Healthcare. Dignity Healthcare operates three (3) hospitals in Bakersfield CA. On 10/17/2015, CM met with Ms. Kristina Torres Cares ID# 748224 and completed Social Service Orientation. Ms. Torres entered BHWS on 10/10/2015 as a transferred from Franklin Shelter. Ms. Torres reported she was unable to meet with staff because she is employed and she leave the facility early and return to the facilitate before 10pm. Ms. Kristina Torres is a 34 year old Hispanic female. Client appeared her stated age.

The JayDoc Free Clinic is a student-run volunteer clinic that offers non-urgent and preventive healthcare to uninsured and underinsured individuals (JayDoc Free Clinic, 2015). The staff is composed of a volunteer multidisciplinary healthcare team consisting of physicians, residents, medical students, pharmacists, pharmacy students, dieticians, mental health practitioners, social workers, and other allied-health professionals and students (JayDoc Free Clinic, 2015). JayDoc mostly functions as an acute care clinic, but offers specialized services on a weekly basis. The procedures for this clinic involve triaging patients accordingly before administering care, referring patients to specialty nights, or providing referrals to other clinics if the treatment resources are unavailable or inappropriate (JayDoc Free Clinic, 2015). Ultimately, JayDoc provides an educational opportunity for students while benefiting the community by promoting access to healthcare.

The immigration system is not something people think about every day, but it is a huge problem for the individuals coming to America. Many people want to come to America because of the opportunities, one being education. Immigrants may have the opportunity to come to America, but cannot afford to go to college to receive the education deserved. There needs to be an education plan provided to immigrants. This new program, called Sponsoring Hope, will provide immigrants with sponsors who pay for them to attend school.
Horizon is a Mental Health and Addiction Rehabilitation Center in the Western New York Area. It also has locations outside New York. There are many locations here in WNY, it all depends on what type of care you need.
