Around 85% of teenagers commit crimes. Crimes are sorted in many different types, one of the most harmful type of crimes is cybercrime. Nowadays, people hear the word ‘cybercrime’ when they talk about electronic devices. Cybercrime is a bigger risk now than before, due to the number of people that are connected to electronic devices. I chose to write about cybercrime, because I am interested in searching about the causes and solutions that leads to committing cybercrime. According to TechTarget,” cybercrime, is also called computer crime, which is known as any illegal activity that involves a computer or network-connected device” (Rouse, 2010) Cybercrime is a crime in which a person uses any electronic communication device for hacking, spamming accounts, identity theft, computer viruses, hate crimes, and many different reasons. Criminals who perform these illegal activities are often referred to as ‘hackers’. These days, the most targeted people to commit cybercrime are sometimes adults, but mostly teenagers. So, people all over the world need to spread awareness among all teenagers to be careful from being cyber criminals or being victims of such crimes.
