If you had the power to kill a person, would you? Adolf Hitler did exactly that, but instead of killing one person he killed multiple people. Hitler was an evil man. He was responsible for starting World War II and for killing more than 11 million people during the Holocaust. Hitler craved the thought of having power over others. He believed that he could provide a strong government that would bring strength and respect back to Germany; he made a book on his thoughts about a new Germany, Mein Kampf. On January 30, 1933 Hitler became the president of Germany and finally had the power he wanted, but that wasn’t enough for him. He put people that disagreed with him in concentration camps. Because of the holocaust Hitler is considered one of the most evil men in history. People were so scared of being put in the concentration camps that they were loyal to Hitler for their own safety. “Concentration camps controlled the majority of the population because of the fear of going to one of these camps, but it kept Germany civilized. He thought that the people who were offended by his camps were “stupid, bourgeois molly coddlers.” Some people viewed Hitler as an “antichrist.” People referred to him as an antichrist because the evil things that he encouraged were born in an anti-Christian
