Education is power. Education can change laws, change cultures, and imposed people to compromise on their political arguments. Education can be a massive weapon that heals an entire community and population. Education does not necessarily connotates to school but to experiences and memories that we learn from. I chose International Relations and Global Studies major because this interdisciplinary major introduces us to the current global challenges that affect the development in the United States. Though schooling does give people the advantage of others because the knowledge they obtain, a good educator is not necessarily a teacher or professor.
A good educator is someone who utilize that knowledge to the better of the community and society.

Volunteering is the best resourceful method to discover the resources and beneficial policies for your wide range of constituents such as sour soldiers. For the past couple of years, I had the privilege to volunteer with the Yellow Ribbons, military family’s care centers, and at the student Veteran Service on campus. Fulfilling to know that I can be part of the process for soldiers’ or their loved one to be educated. When given the availability. African Americans and other marginalized minorities deserve to be represented in all branches of the government locally and even internationally. I aim to work in abroad either in international relief or other non-profits whose aim is solely helping those in need around the world or as an advocate for the United States agenda to bridge gaps between cultures after my undergraduate. Hopefully after gaining experience and knowledge of different government and educational structures, I continue my education at law school.
