When it comes to choosing a college there are many questions you may ask yourself. Of course, one of the most important questions is what college do I want to go to. There are many colleges all over the world that offer many different things. Their are many things to consider when a choosing a two-year or a four-year college.
Community colleges might help people who are already in the workforce.

One of the biggest questions that most people have is the cost of college. Community colleges are much cheaper than universities. On average community colleges will cost around $10,000 a year and universities on average cost around $40,000 a year. By atending a community college you are saving a lot of money. For people who do not know if they want to attend college or not, a 2-year college would be the best way to start. Attending a 2-year college could show you hos college life really is. Another benefit of community college is that you are not always required to stay on campus like universities. For a lot of people community colleges may be close to home which means they could live at home instead of dormitories. Living at home reduces the cost of housing which allows you to save money. You could also save money on food instead of buying meals at colleges. Some large universities do not allow students often time freshmen to have their car on campus which would make it more difficult to travel. At community colleges this is not often tthe case, also their is normally less traveling around at smaller colleges. Like universities, people who attend community colleges can still get finicial aid.
Along with lower tuition costs, most community colleges offer financial aid incentives for students who need assistance paying for college tuition. Some financial aid for community college students also covers the costs of materials and even transportation or housing. Students can apply for special grant programs or student loan programs often with lower interest rates than traditional student loans (Gaille, 2019).
Getting finicial aid will help you out with the already low prices of community college meaning you will have less debt throughout your life unlike people who attend a university who may deal with that debt the rest of their
