The pro-abortion movement was able to hold out through President Reagan?s ultra-conservative approach and the anti-abortion propaganda that was presented in the video, The Silent Scream, which was--and remains to be--a commonly-used tool by pro-life activists. As seen through the appearance of abortion as a more accepted topic as time went on after the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, the pro-abortion movement was present throughout the 1980s and 1990s in a consistent state through popular media (Rosenberg). However, in equal measure, the anti-abortion movement was constant from the 1960s to the 1990s, and even in the modern years. Therefore, while the conservative movement was unable to halt the liberal movement, the liberal movement was also unable to halt the conservative movement.
