It is important that Christians, Jews , and Muslims acknowledge correct belief and correct practice are components of faith. Christians correct belief is that Jesus is the son of god, the second person of the Trinity of God the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. Christians believe that without Jesus dying on the cross there will be no eternal life. “ I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”( John 14:6). Jesus died on the cross for his children’s sins so that they will be forgiven. Christians believe that this was Jesus way of providing the way to heaven for sinful mankind, because no one would have been able to get there on their own.

The correct practice for a Christian is baptism. Christians believe when someone is baptized they are given a new spiritual life, and there set free from sins. It is a tradition that when being baptized be done by a pastor or minister. When someone is baptized they are immersed quickly in water, or the pastor will sprinkle water on them. Baptism is important to Christians, because it represents our death to sin and new life in Christ. As the sinner confesses the Lord Jesus, he dies to sin (Romans 6:11) and is raised to a brand-new life (Colossians 2:12). Another practice in the Christianity religion is communion.
