R. V. Bann - Verdict Rationale In the case of R. V. Bann, Bobbie Bann, the defendant, was charged with second-degree murder. Around the 14th day of June, the year 2015, in the City of Mariposa in the County of Missinaba, Mr.Bann committed second-degree murder on Fallon King, who was in the bathroom when she killed by gunshots. During the trial, it was a little confusing, the defense side was making objections almost the entire time, and it is a little difficult to follow, however, I did manage to found some evidence that indicates that Mr.Bann has murdered and caused the death of Ms. King.
There was a killing in texas that left three people dead. On December 2014 the jury said that Eric Williams was the killer for these people and he should die for the killing of these people. Cynthia Mclellend and her husband Mike Mclellend were shot to death in there home close to a suburb east of Dallas and mark hasse death but hasn’t been to trial. Authorites said that Eric Williams had stole some computer equipment and he was very upset cause that coast him his law license and job. The court has now found evidence on Eric Williams and said that he killed the people in two different incidents and Eric wife Kim testified and said she drove the getaway car and help him destroy the weapons.

1) On August 28, 1986, a woman named Queen Madge White was found dead in her home in Rome, Georgia. She was a 79-year-old widow and was found to be beaten, sexually assaulted, and strangled to death. Her home had also been burglarized. Timothy Foster, an 18-year-old black male, confessed to the crime and officers recovered some of the stolen items from Foster’s home. The State subsequently indicted him for malice, murder, and burglary and the jury that was selected convicted him of capital murder and assigned the death penalty.

Johnny Cade’s Prosecution Murder. The case I am about to present is cold-blooded murder. And in murder, no one, not the killer or the killed, is innocent. Allow me to state the facts of the case, and the events leading up to the crime.
In the Heat Of the Night Throughout the movie racial tensions are high, the attitude of whites in Mississippi towards African Americans. The movie follows Virgil Tibbs a black detective who is hired for a murder investigation in a town in Mississippi. Gillespie is the new chief in town who leads the investigation. Tibbs is arrested in the train station as a suspect for murder.
Source A argues that disparities between blacks and whites have been appalling in court. According to Source A, “If a black person kills a white person, they are twice as likely to receive the death sentence as white person who kills a black person” (2). This reveals that a black person has a higher rate of receiving the death sentence when tried for murdering a white person. If a white person is tried for a killing of a black person they have a 50% chance of getting the death sentence, then that means that a black person would receive a 100% chance of getting the death sentence for killing a white person.
“They were all against her … with their tongues cocked and loaded … the only killing tool they are allowed to use in the presence of white folks.” (176) However, the “white folks” of the jury who are responsible for the conviction of Janie exonerate her even though she did in fact commit murder, an actual, illegal crime in society. The reason for this disparity is that the African Americans wish to punish Janie for her crime of marrying Tea Cake and ignoring her own and Tea Cake’s class disparity and social placement (“It was a hope that she might fall to their level some day.”), while the all-white jury does not condemn Janie for the murder of Tea Cake because it occurred between two African Americans, and therefore not a transgression of the social hierarchy according to race. “Well, long as she don’t shoot no white man she kind kill jus’ as many niggers as she please.” (179)
At one point one white officer asks the black couple to step out of the car. Where the officer pats them down but as he is doing so to the wife, he sexually assaults her by putting his hands on her private area. The black husband, even though he is a well-known film producer, can do nothing but watch his wife be abused in front of him. He is black and the officer is white, if he reacts the situation could go south rapidly. He could be put in jail for “assaulting a police officer” because the officer could twist what happened around to his favor.
Although we hope our Police force will use their powers for good, but sometimes police misconduct can occur. Often, the police are under great pressure to act as quick as possible, espcially in a murder case and if the murder victime is white, a child, police officer, or prominent. For example, In the 1990’s the case of Rodney King, that not only shows a racist issue within the criminal justice system, but also the issue with abuse from police officers, but changed the country’s views on the LA police force. Twenty- Seven years ago,Rodney King was brutally beaten by Los Angeles police officers.
In addition, it is not like the author is pulling these experiences out of thin air these are his experiences he is speaking of his own feelings. This adds so much more credibility to his message by showing readers a different point of view in situations usually told by the other side. Usually in any acts of “misconduct” between white and black people the side of the white person is mostly focused on and unless there is clear evidence contradicting the crime the black man is accused of there is a strong probability that the black man will go to jail
The crime was committed by a man named Derek Vinyard, a white supremacist. He murdered two black gang members after they attempted to steal his truck. A poor innocent African-American boy was shot to death, because his image brought him up to look like a robber, according to a white cop. The white cop did what anyone apparently is expected to do, and shoot what was somehow “threatening” him. Is the cop in jail? No, they let him go because it was meant to be an act of “self defence”. This was quite the battle for Adnan Syed, a young oriental male who was accused of murdering his long-time girlfriend in January of 1999. Hae-Min Lee, Adnan’s girlfriend, went missing in January and her body was found buried in a local park 3 weeks later. Adnan Syed is innocent of killing Hae-Min Lee because of three reasons: Cristina Gutierrez, Adnan’s lawyer, failed to put him in a position to win the trial, Jay is not an effective witness, and the window of time does not match up.
