I was reckless and stupid but it was all driven by love. I knew that if I went to go and see Juliet I could be discovered by guards more powerful than myself and I would never be able to see the light again. But I suppose it was worth the risk in the end. I watched from afar as a light turned on through the window and I couldn’t help but think that it was her. Lighting the world like the morning sun! And alas! It was my lady, o, it was my love! She was the sun, so much more beautiful than the goddess of the night, the moon. Oh how envious it must be of her radiant complexion. If only I could move closer to her- if only I could speak to her- if only I could embrace her- and as if she had heard my wish she stepped closer to the edge of the balcony and rested her hand onto her rosy cheeks and stared off into the distance. I wished I was that glove, only then could I feel the warmness of her cheek. I stared at Juliet for a while as I allowed her magnificent presence to sink into my mind and I tried to understand how anyone could be so charming and pleasant. I gazed into her eyes which reminded me of two shinning stars that had gone away and begged her orbs to take their place. Almost as though her eyes were in the heavens.
