In this novel, we see how Chief Bromden comes to understand that he is not the one who started to present himself as deaf and dumb, but it was the people around him that thought he was too dumb to hear what they were saying. Through Kesey’s writing, we come to see how McMurphy, a rough-n-tough fighting man, helps Chief regain his ability of speech and build his emotional and “physical” strength back to its fullest potential.

There once were two gazelles living on one side of a river in a desert, Brutus and Achban. Brutus and Achban were good friends of one another, but it was commonplace for them to bicker and disagree. On their side of the river grew radishes and turnips, which they could survive on by consuming but they hated the taste. On the other side of the river grew pomegranates, which the gazelles loved but unfortunately an older cheetah was on the other side of the river who would try to eat any animals going after the pomegranates. Due to the cheetah’s old age it wasn’t very fast and could in most scenarios could be outrun, but their was still a chance of being caught due to poor luck.
In Richard Turere’s TED Talk “My Invention That Made Peace with Lions,” the viewer learns about an invention that the speaker created which helps Kenyans protect their livestock from lions. To begin, Turere commences explaining that his community in beliefs that they were born to raise livestock and take very good care of the animals.
