tyler doesn't generally talk to people. he doesn't like the butterflies that violently flutter in his stomach when he is asked a question, or when someone expects him to do his part in carrying on the conversation. in fact, he hates it. as a young boy, tyler's mother always forced him into situations that obviously made him uncomfortable, telling him it will, "help his anxiety." and here he is ten years later with the same anxiety. so when joshua dun ( although tyler didn't know his name yet ) sat next to tyler joseph, he didn't know what to do. the, 'hello,' that came from the boy's lips just moments ago startled tyler. everything about him startled tyler. as far as tyler had known, he was alone while he stared at the night sky, and it scared him even more to think what the boy sitting beside him thinks about him now. …show more content…

"are you okay?" the boy asked. he saw the way tyler looked like he just seen a ghost, and he saw his mouth slightly opening, like he wanted to respond but he couldn't find the courage to say anything. it might be the alcohol tyler is drinking, and the fact that he is feeling light, but he finally came up with a response for the boy sitting next to him. "y-yeah, you just startled me," tyler's voice shook, and the boy next to him strained to hear his soft voice, but tyler spoke nonetheless and he was proud of himself for a brief moment. "what's your name?" the boy asked tyler. "tyler."
