"Okay sweetie, be home soon!" Jenna's sweet voice chirped out. Tyler ended the call with Jenna and continued driving to his destination. The book store. Tyler loved the book store, the quiet atmosphere, the sound of pages turning as people read, the smell of books. All of it calmed Tyler and always put him in a peaceful state of mind. And a peaceful state of mind is what Tyler needed. Things have got even more stressful with Jenna lately, she's rarely home, always at some seedy looking bar until the early hours of the morning. He's positive that Jenna has been cheated on him, although he hasn't asked her yet. Tyler just knows these things. He let's out a deep exhale of breath and removes his hands. Grabbing his car keys from the ignition he leaves the car and heads to the entrance of the book store. Tyler pulled open the front door, a bell jingling softly making him smile. He stepped inside and the door shut behind him, ringing the bell again. A small smell of cinnamon enveloped him, making him feel more at peace than ever. Tyler's hands shoved themselves into his pockets and he begin walking around, noting that almost no one was here. He began to hum a small bit, his fingers tapping against his small stomach. He stopped in front of a book shelf full of crisp new books and he pulled a hand out of his pocket. Tyler's hands began trailing against the spines of the books until he stopped on one. His long fingers pulled it off the shelf and he brought the book closer to him, opening it up. The boy had a small black hoodie wrapped around his body and tight black jeans. Tyler kept staring until the boy looked over at him. Tyler averted his eyes back to the book in his hands, his cheeks filling with embarrassment for being caught. He softly bit his lip and moved his eyes back up to the doorway, but the boy wasn't there anymore. Tyler frowned a small bit and placed the book on the shelf, one of his hands going into his pocket while the other mindlessly played with his fluffy hair. He began to walk, looking for the boy, but he wasn't gonna admit that. He walked past a book shelf and he looked left and right for the boy. He let out a small sigh as he didn't see the boy standing anywhere. Tyler turned right and stood in an empty room full of books upon books. Olive green couches decorated each corner of the room, giving it a more homey feel and the smell of cinnamon was stronger in here. Tyler walked over to one of the olive green couches and he sit down, sinking into the worn couch. He let out a small sigh and pushed his palms into his eyes. "Why am I even looking?"
