Cultural awareness is an expertise that can be helpful at both the professional and social levels. It can make a task, mission or conference beneficial for all parties. An absence of cultural awareness can prompt significant miscommunication and ultimately, rejection by a host nation. This essay aims to identify and examine Poland's physical geography and military conflict history. These conflicts include their complex terrain, urban terrain, key infrastructures, lines of communications and past military conflicts that have impacted their society, as well as the climate impacts on the populace, farming, insurgency and smuggling. The country has eagerly received wireless communications and cellular phones. Poland has a vast military conflict history and one of the most significant is after the first World War, when Poland regained its freedom. During the second World War Germany invaded Poland which left the country devastated and led to a communist takeover until after the war when the "Roundtable Agreements" of 1989 began to form democracy. Traditions, customs and more show a different blend of the East and the West. Literary and artistic figures have assumed a noteworthy part in public life all through Poland's history. Poles are rumored to be enthusiastic perusers and can be said to have a distinct fascination in the arts. Poland was a diverse gathering, for the most part the average national was Jewish, Christian Orthodox, Roman Catholic or Protestant. Because of the Holocaust and post-World War Two, Poland is currently approximately ninety five percent Roman Catholics and the other five percent are either Eastern Standard or another type of Christian religion. In Poland all religious occasions are viewed as national occasions when most organizations are shut down or closed; the most essential occasion being Christmas, enduring two and a half days. In conclusion, understanding the way of life of the general public, their beliefs, values and codes of conduct can be helpful when working with foreign or domestic partners. Cultural awareness keeps one from making speculations and educates one about proper communication styles with people from different backgrounds.
