WWI ended on November 11, 1918. After WW1 there is a large shift in how people lived their lives. The decade that follows is sometimes known as the second industrial revolution because of the prosperity and the money that flowed through the decade. People were buying more of everything, for example alcohol. and they spent more time partying to bounce back from the sad times of WWI. The end of WWI drove cultural change in the 1920s by bringing new prosperity to more people. After WW1 the United States was mass-producing goods which made them readily available to buy. This means that people were buying and selling a lot more than before the war started. The promotion of consumer culture in the 1920s also helped to make the decade more prosperous.
