Cultural diversity is a highly precarious issue that has plagued nations for years. With every change in political leadership, and economic factors, education and in correlation diversity are still highly divisible topics. The current economic and political climate has led a diaspora of communities into foreign, unfamiliar and sometimes hostile territories. Psychologists such as (FIND) have acknowledged how vital early years education is in a child’s life. Living, working and learning in a place as multicultural as Dubai, this book seemed like an ideal choice to cover for this book review. I believe this book has ideas and strategies that have relevance today especially for early years practitioners, as we have classrooms that are growing more diverse by the day.
