Culturally Diverse Environment

I think that society would gain many things from having a culturally diverse environment. In having a culturally diverse environment you may gain more knowledge or even a more in depth knowledge of something. Diversity is defined in many ways but one that is used often is a range of different things. Diversity can be if you grew up differently, have a different social status or even religion. Also where you were brought up and even what school you went to. No one can have the same mind you have, think the way you think, and feel how you feel about certain things and that is what makes people so diverse today. Without diversity we would have a dull world where everyone and everything was the same because no one has a different mind to create

Diversity can mostly help people gain more knowledge about different things or even things that they didn’t even know about. People gain a lot more knowledge from just listening to someone else’s view on a subject. This helps people in so many ways since you may not know what it’s like living day to day and someone can tell you how that is. Seeing different points that people share about how they feel or what they know widens the topic of how you can open up later. If you had a job interview and someone asked you a question about a topic you had no idea about but you listened to someone else talk about that to you one day you could use that to help you. To me you gain so much knowledge for diversity because even if you both live somewhere and your friend is from a different cultural background then you, they would be able to tach and even show you about their background instead of you just listening to what other people that think they know the culture say. Just having different people with different outlooks on how things are and should be could be good because they will show you different things that you may not know or have not ever thought about because you may not have been raised the same way they were or vice versa. Everyone around you is diverse because they weren’t brought up the same way you were and even with the same problems you have so always listen to people about their views and how they see things or what knowledge that they have because that can become part of your knowledge and can help
