The education system plays an important role on changing diversity of the world. As the population grows, the United States becomes more of a culturally diverse nation, this leads on to a more diverse environment in public schools. Cultural diversity is important for all schools to get involved in. Students should learn to embrace it as the benefits will help navigate them growing up in a diverse society. Attending in a school with a diverse population can help students develop understandings of different perspectives. According to section one of the article, “Understanding Culture and Diversity in Building Communities” it says, “when you are working with people and building relationships with them, it helps to have some perspective and understanding of their cultures”. Each will meet different people who hold different backgrounds and have different views.
