"Brackeen died Monday as a result of a gunshot wound to to the chest area Saturday." Tim Brackeen 's funeral will be held today in Shelby. The murder suspect was arrested September 14th around 2 a.m.

Even tho this is the most recent mass school shooting in the U.S right now... school shooting have been around forever. Since the columbine shooting there has been over 7 events of a shooter walking on campus and firing their weapons. Why are these happening at the rate that they are. Is it terrorist is?
19 years ago, the Columbine School Shooting. 11 years ago, Sandy Hook elementary school shooting. 6 years ago, the Virginia Tech shooting. Just last year, the Las Vegas shooting that killed 58 and harmed hundreds other. Just last month, the Stoneman Douglas high school shooting, that killed 17 and emotionally and physically harmed dozens more.

Mass shootings are only responsible for a very small percentage of deaths in the United States, but mass shootings are happening more often than ever, a mass shooting happens on average one time a month.
