At approximately 2143 Shift Supervisor Justin Riddle responded to a Code Red in the Central Services building. Upon arrival Riddle met with a Casper Police officer and began a floor by floor search. Jeffery Kent Powell, forty-five, and Billie Jean West, sixty-three, were two of the main victims in Jeremy Doss Hardy’s shooting incident. Ovi Cruz is being accused of misleading police, according to prosecutors who say Cruz lied about how well he knew the man wanted for the murder of Ashley Bortner, reports say. Fernando Owens, 43, of Dorchester, Mass., is wanted for the murder of 29-year-old Bortner. Bortner, a Paulsboro native, was found Nov. 3 alongside railroad tracks in Bridgwater, Mass.

A Closer Look at Cop Killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley by Limus Woods, Contributing Writer A 28-year-old with a harsh criminal background, the troubled NYPD cop killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley was not just a shooter who came out of nowhere and decided to kill two policemen. He actually was affiliated with a prison gang some years ago that hated the police in particular. Some of the actions that he displayed during the entire day, from the time he left Baltimore until he committed suicide in the New York subway, hinted at mental illness. But, until you see the history of him from childhood to the time of his death, you won’t understand how the timeline over the course of his life may have been leading up to this type of ending for him for a long time now.

Sandy Banks is bothered by the injustice of police officers towards possible innocent victims. Because it seems like if officers rely on shooting at people as their safest option, Banks demands better training to help solve this issue. Police officers being caught on camera doesn 't changes the fact that the victim will become wounded, or pass away, yet, in most cases officers are not held accountable for the insensible act. In her article, "Horrific videos aren 't solving police shootings, but better training might" Banks asks for better training for police officers, as she developed strong pathos with details, great logos with logical solutions and consequences, but a weak ethos by not mentioning her credentials and the other side of the story.
