“That video shocked me.It left my heart trembling. It left my thoughts trembling” said Pitts, Leonard JR. The article explains an incident that sparks social media. The incident was an execution of a black male by an officer. Pitts argues how black deaths get a ton of attention on social media, but there has been no action for justice. Pitts explains how about black deaths are viewed and the action that is taking place to avoid any more incidents such as, Philando Castile. He provides examples of the topic and grabs the reader attention. Towards the end, it states the dialogue between Castile and the officer.This dialogue was a great way to appeal to the reader emotions and show how Castile was cooperating with the officer but was still killed.
