Dairy Queen is also well known and is really popular because it is a franchise and has over 5500 locations in approximately 20 countries.They are known for their unique ice cream names and serving the ice cream blizzards upside down to show that their ice cream is hard and does not melt easily. Also, Dairy Queen backs from a strong parent brand and this ensures and maintain financial stability. Creamy Craze can complete with Dairy Queen with advertising and promoting our product even more as a homemade ice cream, compared to their factory made ice cream. As Dairy Queen is a strong parent brand, Creamy Craze can compete with advertising and attracting children to our products and reinforce that it is homemade to their parents. The weaknesses of Dairy Queen is that they are a franchise and the ice cream is made and imported for the headquarters and factories. It is not freshly made and is not homemade, like Creamy Craze. Creamy Craze is promoted as a homemade ice cream to made our company better than Dairy Queen. Dairy Queen also has a weak market share for food as it is mostly known for its desserts such as ice cream. There are many opportunities for Dairy Queen, such as expanding geography to more cities and counties or expanding with new product and service lines. Their products could include a healthy choice such as fruit ice creams, or using less sugar.
