hat is the definition of "Hero"? It means someone who has noble traits, a person you could look up to. Who is Dallas Winston? Dallas, or Dally to his friends, is a troublemaker and delinquent. He steals and gets into fights. He has even gone to jail one or twice. Many people see him as a rebel or Greaser. One person saw him as a hero for being tough and strong. Johnny looked up to him like he was a hero. In the eyes of many people Dallas Winston is not a hero for many reasons.
Dallas Winston didn't really have someone to look up to. He has pretty much been on his own for a long time. He is a Greaser and gets into trouble all the time. He has gone to jail and doesn't care about anything. Dally did have many friends though that he somewhat cared

This shows that Dallas was loyal to the gang no matter what happened.
