A hero can be anyone such as your friend, your next door neighbor, or even your sibling. A hero is a person who will risk their life or defend others from harm’s way. In “The Outsiders” by S.E Hinton, Ponyboy is a hero. Johnny is a hero because kills someone to save an innocent person. Cherry teaches Ponyboy lessons about her experiences which also makes her a hero.

Hilton, we go to a time where gangs remain dominant and run the streets. S.E. Hinton tells us about two enemy gangs. The Socs, one of the many provocative gang groups, kids who live lavish lives and get away with the crimes they commit because they look clean cut and look like good innocent kids on the outside.

Therefore, he’s defined by his acts and traits not by his looks or social status. He is well respected not only by the ones that he saves, but also by his community as a whole. Heroes come from everywhere around the world, with different capabilities, backgrounds and beliefs. Yet, they have a lot in common, most importantly standing up for the ones that cannot stand for themselves.
A hero can be anyone. In the book “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton, the two characters Pony and Darry are heroes. Another character, Dally, is not. A hero is someone who never gives up, puts his or her life on the line for others, and cares for everyone. Anyone can be a hero.
Many people would describe a hero to be someone with a cape on their back saving the world from its terrors, but let's face it that isn’t reality. A hero is a person of any race, upbringing, wealth income, age, and so forth that has a good heart and does deeds purely for the help of others rather than the show of it. An example of this would be Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, and Darry Curtis from the so called “hood” in a gang called the Greasers. Although they all have been through a lot and seen a lot in their years of living this has definitely shaped their minds and hearts on their actions. All in all, these young men have proven throughout the chapters one through six that they have these characteristics fit to be a hero.
Heroes can be anywhere. A hero is someone who is always willing to help others no matter the circumstances. Ponyboy, Johnny, and Soda are all heroes. Many people can be heroes but all for different reasons. Ponyboy is a hero for many reasons.
What is a hero? A hero is someone who is courageous and is willing to step up and fight when the time is right. A hero fights for is for the betterment of others, and not only to benefit themselves. Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally are all heroes in "The Outsiders," by S. E. Hinton, although Johnny is the greatest hero of them all.
Being a hero can be hard. A hero is someone who is brave and strong; someone who would do anything to save others, selflessly, just to save a life. Ponyboy is a hero. Although Johnny kills Bob, he is still a hero. Darry hits and yells at Ponyboy, but is still a hero.
A hero is anyone who makes the right decision to sacrifice for a person in need. For example, without heroes like firemen, wildfires and house fires would spread across the nation, costing lives and loss of worldly possessions. Firemen stand strong, risk themselves, and protect all for the well-being, safety of others, and personal property. In addition,
A hero can be anyone around you. A hero is a person who is strong, has courage, helps others, and does good deeds. Ponyboy deserves to be considered a hero. Johnny also deserves to be considered a hero too. Dally does not deserve to be considered a hero though, unlike Ponyboy and Johnny.
The Outsiders, by S.E Hinton, is a novel that explores the challenges faced by Ponyboy Curtis and his fellow gang members, growing up in the town of Tulsa, Oklahoma whilst living in the crossfire of two rival gangs: the Greaser and the Socs. During Ponyboy's journey he learns many important lessons, but after several tragic events, three key lessons stand out from all others. These are: to “stay gold,” not to judge others too quickly others and the pointless of violence. One of the most important lessons Ponyboy learns in The Outsiders is to, “Stay gold.”
Everyone is a hero at some point in there life. A hero is kind and helps others with their actions and words. Pony, Dallas, and Johnny are heroes in the book The Outsiders. They all fit my definition of a hero and maybe add a little more meaning that fits their personality. All of us are a hero but only some of us show it.
A hero is someone who is courageous and saves other’s life. Many people can think a celebrity, a soldier, or just someone who helps others is a hero. If someone is being harassed they would need a hero to make it stop. A hero can be a police officer who gets a criminal, or it can be a firefighter who gallantly gets a kitten out of a tree. Some people have their own definitions of a hero.
My definition of a hero is an imperfect person that risks something or someone to help out another person, and is brave, courageous, and strong. All three characters have shown heroic acts and even lost their own lives because of it. Even though that Dally didn’t get recognized for a hero when he died, I know that he was one, not a Juvenile Delinquent that got shot. There are also various reasons why Ponyboy and Johnny were heroes too. Johnny was one of the biggest heroes in this book, even though he made some mistakes.
