The book I chose was The Education of a Coach, which is a biography of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and was written by David Halberstam. The book was very interesting to me because I am a football fan and Patriots fan. There were some good take-aways from the book from when Bill was successful and from when he wasn’t. One thing I wish the book could have talked about was problems that Belichick and the Patriots were called out after about Spygate. Many of Belichick’s flaws that were seen as signs of weakness and a lack of leadership in Cleveland, had turned into the keys to being a successful head coach in the NFL. Bill Belichick is for sure not the same coach he was in Cleveland. He’s a genius I think and learned from his mistakes in Cleveland and wont let himself repeat them. The results have shown to be true because now he is considered to be one of the greatest head-coaches ever and with 9 Super Bowl appearances and 6 wins it’s hard to
