President John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe were iconic people in pop culture of the 1950 and 1960’s. A lot of questions arose with these two people including politics, affairs, secrets and murder. The death of Marilyn Monroe on August 5th, 1962 at 36 years old and John F. Kennedy’s death on November 22nd, 1963 at 46 years old. Both of which at a young age, as well as both of their deaths raising high conspiracies, if not the most popular. Is it a coincidence that these two, who had some form of a relationship died within only one year and three months within one another? There were already speculating rumors of a possible affair between the politician and the movie star but it seemed as if this confirmed it somehow (Cosgrove, 2014). Marilyn Monroe then died only 3 months later! Then John F. Kennedy that following fall. Is this only a coincidence? Were the rumors spiraling out of control? Though these rumors came to truth as it was confirmed that Kennedy and Monroe had slept with one another after a dinner party held at a New York hotel in his honor February of 1962 (Kiger, 2013), just 3 months before the infamous “Happy Birthday” and this could be the answer why. Once gossip started between the two, the president had to try and shut it down somehow and keep it all underwraps, Marilyn Monroe seemed to be very persistent and would even call the White House on numerous occasions hoping to get back to where they were and a friend of John F. Kennedy’s even told Monroe not to pursue him any longer (Kiger, 2013). According to a book, written by Christopher Anderson called “These Few Precious Days: The Final years of Jack with Jackie,” claims that
