Although many would argue that poverty is linked to violent crime, the government needs to provide highly qualified legal representation in order to stop Unjust Incrimination from occurring due to lack of representation, or wealth blanketing the truth.
Unjust Incrimination has been largely prominent in the population of those experiencing poverty, as many have not been able to afford qualified legal representation, leading them to fall down the rabbit hole of government coerced statements. Carlo DeLuna was a poor Hispanic man, living in conditions “where poor residents were too readily charged with capital murder, convicted, and sentenced to death with little, if any, legal representation.” He was placed on Death Row for the murder of 24 year

Brock Allen Turner, shares the story of 19 year old, Stanford swimmer, Brock Turner and his heinous crime of sexual assault on multiple accounts towards Emily Doe. The assailant pleaded innocent throughout his trial, however, throughout his interview his linguistics told a different story. While speaking with authority, he failed to “directly acknowledge her, this deflecting his responsibility to her for his action, essentially erasing the victim from the description of the event.” Which continues to prove his guilt in the case. “While these charges can carry up to fourteen years in prison, Brock Turner served just three months in a county jail”. As a Standford scholar and star swimmer, the status and money got this short time while “Under California Penal Code Section 261, rape is a felony offense. If you are convicted of this crime, you face 3, 6, or 8 years in prison.” To further provide evidence, another example of this would be the Kennedy’s and The Kennedy Curse. The Kennedy’s family have “experienced both the highest highs and the most tragic lows in their time” and have “endured severe and horrific losses.” The Claimed cause of death for many of these losses are incapable of all just being a coincidence. The Kennedy family has been theorized to have murdered people who find out too much about their family and endeavors. The government has taken steps to try and alleviate this issue by coming up with this new technology, however none of it is being used when it comes to the population of poverty. By taking the money from tax collection, some could be put toward providing the correct legal counsel for people experiencing poverty in court. This would stop unjust execution such as the case of Carlos DeLuna and heinous crimes going without punishment such as Brock Turner and The Kennedy
