Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman is a tragic play about an aging and struggling salesman, Willy Loman, and his family’s misguided perception of success. Willy Loman the protagonist, is a salesman who travel around America to try and sell his products. He has two sons named Biff and Happy, pus a faithful wife named Linda. Each of these family member is living in denial of their mediocre life and career. Although, its not all their fault, it is Willy’s corruption of their mind that caused their families down fall. His misinterpretation of the American Dream, pushed his sons to go through great lengths to impress him. His affects to others are so great, although, it is mostly negative.
