In other words Ben was telling his dad the world is full of secret, danger when they take new opportunities in their job, but also they create new opportunities for their family. For example today’s working parents choose to go to work on weekends because they need the money. There are two sides of consequences damaging and valued when parents take the opportunities in their job. The first one why damaging? As the children keep growing the parents start needing more money and start working more often on weekends. Parents at times are even competing against their own friends at work to get erta shifts. One of the common consequences of the parents working so hard making opportunities for children is that the children do not realize sacrifices the parents are making for them and start resentencing their parents.
Today’s young generations of children have a problem valuing the hard work their parents do in other to give their Children a better life. Arthur Miller wrote the play “Death of a Salesman” that was turned into a book in 1949. The play is about the consequences working parents face today in life. To illustrate how the main character in the play, he works really hard and selling for a living to finally pay and own his own house. But the problem was he was more concentrate on accomplishing his dreams and setting also goals for his children. However his sons did not view life the same way he did. Some common obstacles parents face today in life is working extra shifts or missing dinner time with the family. Although parents work for many hours there most common mistake is not paying attention to the activities their children do. Most parents do not notice that they are focussing less on their children because they are really concentrate on making new opportunities to their children. However there are times the children do not notice the work their parents are doing to give them a great future. Then the children start resenting their parents actions. In the article “More Working Parents play “ Beat the Clock,”” divides their main points into two sections. The two sections are “ who watches the children” and “Family Mealtime Sacrificed.” In the same way these two sections argue that parents are spending less time with their family. In one hand the first section “who watches the children” explains that some challenges singles parents face is working on weekends with a low payment and less benefits from the job. Marilyn Gardner states, “Challenges can be even more acute for single mothers work shifts, and more than a third work weekends. they are also more likely to hold hold lower-paying jobs with fewer benefits and less flexibility”(238). Gardner is arguing that for single parents is more difficult the challenges they face. For example single mothers have to work extra on weekends with a low payment and
