Sleep deprivation will completely change one’s lifestyle, and their usual ideas and thoughts are clouded over, since “when people are sleep deprived, their moral judgement and decision-making skills are impaired...they’re more impulsive” (Does Sleeping Well Make Us More Socially Adept?). The lack of sleep will damage basic skills that teens have learned over time, and often these will end in consequences that were avoidable if they followed the simple ideas that remained in their brain. They cannot think clearly without sleep, and their decisions are often made for the present, without going through careful consideration. After attending the late night party, Romeo was so excited to see Juliet again he had to slip out and talk to her until morning, which forced him to lose an entire night of sleep. Early in the morning, directly after Romeo vowed to marry Juliet, he strode to Friar Lawrence’s garden and announced that “[his] heart’s dear love is set on the fair daughter of rich Capulet. As mine on hers, so hers is set on mine, and all combined, save what thy must combine by holy marriage” (Shakespeare 2.3. 61-65).
