“The blame Game” If i would have to pick any character in the book who caused all the problems i would have to say it was Romeo. I’m saying it’s romeo because he kept the marriage between him and juliet a secret, he killed tybalt, and he was very hasty. Friar laurence was responsible for marrying Romeo and Juliet. The nurse and them three was the only one’s that knew about it. If they wouldn’t have never kept the marriage a secret the prince wouldn’t have Romeo banned from the town and Romeo and Juliet could’ve lived happily ever after.
Character Defense: Romeo We perceive that Romeo is innocent due to his apparent love for Tybalt and his clear disesteem to the brawl unfolding. Even though the choices of people like Friar Laurence, Tybalt, and Lord Capulet lead to the deaths of Romeo & Juliet, the choices Romeo and Juliet make throughout the play ultimately leads to their death because of Romeo and Juliet’s decision to be married and Romeo’s decision to go to the party. Romeo’s choice to go the Capulet party is the most influential and contributing to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Due to Romeo’s depression Mercutio & Benvolio convince him to go to the Capulet party.
