We need others to love and we need to be loved by them. There is no doubt that without it, we too, like the infant left alone, would cease to grow, cease to develop, choose madness and even death. Love a universal topic with everyone having their own opinion of what it is. Love which is known as the great mystery with no one truly knowing the exact meaning or what it is to them. The emotion of love is extremely powerful and a great feeling for everyone although it meaning has changed over the years. Diane Ackerman states that “Love has many fashions, some bizarre and to our taste shocking, others more familiar, but all are part of a phantasmagoria we know.” Meaning in any stage or form anyone can recognize love because of the beauty that it shares to others. For instance “A woman from Egypt is put in an automobile shop in Detroit but she’ll be astonished by telephones, computers, fashions, language and customs. But if she saw a man and woman stealing a kiss in a quiet corner she would smile.” Everyone knows what the sight of love looks like even though the Egyptian lady is in a different century she will always know how beautiful it is .With the beauty of love it is an unforgettable scene that can never be erased because love is beautiful.
