Words are such tangled objects of life, but people never really pay attention to their complexity. They never think about the different faces each and every word has. People have to realise it has more than one meaning; sometimes they don't think that and the things they say are taking the wrong way because the other person views what they said in a different way. They don't think about each and every meaning a word could have to someone else before saying it. It's not that they don't know every meaning, because somewhere they subconsciously do. Someone who has felt it, or been through it will see it differently than doctors or a psychiatrist. To the ones who have gone through anxiety, it's more of a feeling. It's the feelings of being overwhelmed, and not knowing. It is something deep that one feels; sometimes it doesn't last long, other times it stays until you confront the problem. It's not a constant feeling either; some seem to think a person with with anxiety can't be outgoing, or talk to new people. That isn't always the case. People who deal with anxiety tend to overthink things more, but that doesn't always stop them from doing it. They are still normal humans who like to take risk; just not as much as someone without anxiety would. It's hard to explain the feelings someone with anxiety has, because it is different for everyone. It's how one reacts when put into a situation that scares them. Anxiety is when ones stomach feels weird, it's not like butterflies or nausea, it's like emptiness. Anxiety has physical and emotional effects on the people that have it. Although it affects each and every person differently, it always to follow the same emotional path. They start feeling they can't control it anymore, they can't take it anymore. They feel overwhelmed and stressed; their emotions overpower rational thought. It's knowing even though everything will be alright, it feels like the end of the world at that point in time. There are very few if any words that can not be seen in different perspectives. If people take the time to really think of a word, they could find many different times where a word doesn't mean what they normally think it would. Sure each word has a basic definition. Anxiety is that it is a nervous disorder, but as shown above, to some this isn't what they think when anxiety is brought up. Just like words, everyone is different; therefore, each individual will have a different view. Whether it be a slightly different view, or a completely opposite view, they will always be different. If 10 people were asked to define anxiety, the chances that any two definitions would be exactly the same are very low. Everyone thinks and words things differently; therefore they way they see things are different. It purely depends on whether they've experienced it or if they are just bystander. Anxiety is probably one of the harder words die to the fact that even the people who have it see it differently than others that have it. There are probably millions of definitions for this one small word. Each and every word consist of more than one meaning; anxiety being an example.
