Equality. This word has been involved in many conversations for decades, dating all the way back to Jesus's time. This single word has caused nations to fall, and even cause some to rise. But what is equality? And what does it truly mean? In the dictionary, equality is defined as "the state of being equal, especially in status, right, or opportunities". Well, personally I believe that equality is treating every person equally as if they were yourself. Helping someone out, hanging out with someone you normally wouldn't, and just being a nice person, in general. Or to make it short, that we are one.
Our world can be a great place, but at the same time, it could be downright the worst. Nowadays millions of people are discriminated for their race, religion, colour, creed, and sexual orientation. And in a few countries, these people are persecuted for their faith, for their choice, for their beliefs, and this happens every day somewhere in this cruel world. Discrimination

It’s just human nature. That is why we need to stop this issue, as it can grow into a bigger problem. I remember reading a quote online, I remember it so clearly as it impacted my life so vividly. It said, “You can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone”. The fight for equality isn't a one-man job, it requires a global movement. I believe that we are all born equal, but we are not treated equally and that is why we must fight. We must fight for the equality of every man, woman, and child, regardless of race, religion, colour, creed, and sexual orientation. At the end of the day, whether you have a Toyota or Mercedes, the road remains the same. Whether you travel economy class or first, your destination doesn't change.
