How do you define family? Many people have their own interpretation about what family is. Family is a group of people who are bounded by blood or even the care and affection for one another, and that are able to power through all the difficult and enjoyable moments they encounter as a whole or as individuals. Family is like a shelter, an important aspect of life, because it gives an individual a secure place to go when they do not feel safe. The first advice is the importance of doing your school work and turn it on time. This builds up your responsibility and your time management. School should not be looked as a building with teachers and students, but as a habit. Not everyone likes school, but it is important to start earlier than never. It helps practice the skills that you obtain and guide you to be successful in the future. If you do your homework then it would become a daily routine and you are not going to struggle in doing, although you may struggle on it, it should just push you to become better. There would be days that you would rather stay home and not worry about school. For example, you have a test the next day, maybe you have project presentations, or simply you just forgot to do your homework, but it should not be an excuse, it should just motivate you even more. As a human being, making mistakes is part of nature, you can not erase them like pencil on paper, but you learn from them. “Practice makes perfect,” might be a phrase you may hear along all your years in school because it is true. It is also important to be involved with your school’s activities so you can experience different people and help your community. This would pay off when you write your first resume for college and job interviews in the future. If you began to hang around the wrong group of students than you would not end up in a good place. School is going to be a struggle therefore leading you to be just a number in statistics of high school dropouts.
