I think that everything a person goes through, both good and bad in their life, they are in control of their own happiness. Whether it is though money, adventure, or family, you get to choose what goes into your life, giving you true happiness. When it comes to money, some people do not think that it brings others happiness, but to some people, it does. People want jobs to make money. They want to buy things, like clothes or accessories that they have been saving their money for, making them happy. But money is not only for buying things for one’s self, but it is also for giving to others. There are people that find pleasure in giving most of their money to charities or organizations, that not only make themselves happy, but also the people that they are helping. An example would be if their was a little girl that grew up poor, but managed to go to college and get a great job that paid a lot of money. She became very happy because she could now buy all the things she never thought she would be able to afford, but she then decides to give some of her earnings away to charities that can give children …show more content…

There are people that find joy traveling or exploring new things. They get to go out and see the beauty of the Earth and sometimes even find themselves or get the chance to understand the meaning of things. This happiness can be seen in the movie, Into the Wild. It is about a young man that just graduate from an I.V. league college, but is not really happy inside, so he decides to go “off the grid.” He makes a new identity for himself and ventures off to Alaska to find himself. Even though many challenges have been thrown at him the whole time, he still continues to go on because he is happier living alone, rather than in a society where people are constantly criticizing and judging him for what he does.
