“True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.” (Arthur Ashe) Many people believe a hero has to do something heroic to be classified as a hero. However, this is not true, any ordinary person can be a hero, even if they don’t realize it. Although heroism may not mean that you will receive recognition, it does mean that you should still be brave, face challenges, and help others.
Heroes are people who have a positive impact on people’s lives and change them for the better. For example, a hero could help find the person who killed your father. Or, they could just help an old or disabled person walk across the street. Although one of these deserves more recognition than the other, they are both still heroic acts and the person who performed each could be classified as a hero. No matter what they do, they should leave the person they helped feeling better than they did before.

A hero would never pass up a chance to help someone, even if it means sacrificing their time, possessions, or even their health. For example, if someone is late for work or school, and they see someone in need of assistance, they will help the person even if they are late for work or school. Likewise, a hero would help someone in need with a smile on their face, no matter how reluctant they are to do
