CPUSH Transcript: Plan for the National Government Debate Between Federalist and Anti-Federalist—Hamilton vs. Jefferson Alexis Orellana FRANKLIN: Alexander Hamilton as a federalist representative, please explain in a brief summary on why a national government would be more essential opposed to an anti-federalist's view on having a state government. HAMILTON: As a supporter of the constitution we insist on the constitutions balance of power between national and state. We believe that the division of powers and having the system of checks and balances would protect citizens rights from the oppressive rule from an organized power.
What does it mean to be a mother? Is it something as simple as having given birth to the child? Or is the actual definition of being a mother a lot more complex? In Laura Esquivel’s book Like Water for Chocolate, the main character, Tita, has a mother that doesn’t care about her.
Many women fought during the war in many different ways. Deborah Sampson disguised herself as a man to battle in the Continental army but was still honorably discharged and was rewarded with a soldiers pension. Other patriot women held goods off the market until their prices rose, contributed homespun goods to the army, and passed along information about the British army movements( Foner 232). Ester Reed and Sara Franklin Bache organized a Ladies Association to raise funds to assist American soldiers. The Ladies Association illustrated how the Revolution was propelling women into new forms of public activism.
I am clearly writing to young women, that don’t have a lot of experience being on their own. The letter was a form to get my message across. A mother writing to her daughter can trigger something in us and make us think. That is another rhetorical idea that associates with my example. My audience can interpret this letter in many ways, but I try to convey and portray how alcohol can be easily incorporated into our lives.
She gives the reader both physical and emotional descriptions of the main ones. Mama is an apparently a laid back and very caring human being. One feels the motherhood radiating as she sits outside waiting for Dee. Any person who has been away from home will know the feeling of coming home and having a mother waiting. Even as she is waiting for Dee, her brain is still on her other daughter who is home and who is emotionally distraught.
She is bearing the future of the whole human race on her shoulders. When Kee’s child is born, she makes sure her child is always close to her. When Kee feels that she and her child are in danger she pulls her child close to her is protective manner. Like Kee any mother is willing to do anything to protect her child. The love a mother has for her child is one of the strongest and purest examples of
Obviously people can have other role models in their lives to thrive, but the term “mother” is seen specifically in Peter Pan. This can be seen throughout the book when a mother impacted characters daily lives, the protection needed, and their well being/need
Mothers are caring, loving, thoughtful, borchering ,and always protected from malicious people and things. These adjectives describe not only the general mother archetype, but make them significant and important. The mother archetype is one of the most important archetypes. The mother archetype stands for all mothers, and their role in playing their mothering parts. This is not only special to that archetype, but explains why it is one.
“Family” is a hard word to create a concrete definition for. If one were to ask three random people on the street, it is likely they will receive three completely different answers to defining a family. The textbook definition of family according to the etymology dictionary is: “Origin in early 15c. “servants of a household” from Latin familia “family servants, domestics collectively, the servants in a household.” The traditional dictionary describes family in a more narrow fashion stating, “a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not.”
Family is characterized with common aspects such as parents, grandparents, and siblings but there are so many other ways to distinct family. The word family is commonly defined as a group of individuals that have the same ancestors, and gather for holidays and other special events. This particular definition is true in so many ways, but everyone goes through life with situations that are brought up that bring together or break apart families. When I think about the word family and my experiences I have gone through and I would consider family to have crazy moments, lots of laughter, and unconditional love. Family to me is getting everyone together and having a good time and acting crazy with your loved ones, making memories.
She was a selfless human being who sacrificed her life for all her children. She had a fighting spirit that is unmatched. As a wife, she was very submissive to her husband as Christ requires it, no matter the consequences. Mom was the epitome of humility, kindness, love, compassion, gentleness and had a great sense of humour and an infectious smile. She was very jovial and extremely multi talented.
There have been many people in my life who have impacted it both negatively and positively, but no one has had an impact in my life greater than my mom. This woman is just amazing in my eyes, right from the beginning because of the way she raised me, if I had children I would raise them the same way she raised me. The person she is, in general, has really had a great effect in my life, and also how she has always told me about the struggles shes had in her life from the ones I didn't see to the ones I have seen with my own eyes. I believe if I didn't know my mother as well as I do, she wouldn't have influenced me as much as she does. The way my mom raised me has made me the person I am today, so if I were to say she didn't impact my life I would be lying.
Lastly, my mom is loving which is the last reason that she deserves the Marvelous Mother award. I love my mother and I cherish her for these reasons. “A mother is she who can take the place of all others, but whose place no one else can take.”-
Gender is becoming a large word of conflict in society, and its use has increased in the past few years as the definition has been debated and discussed. Many people are trying to figure out what gender is, and if it is as simple as male and female, or if gender is different from sex and a much topic. I personally view it as a broad word that means more than it has in the past, but that is due to the environment I have grown up in and people that have been in my life as I have started learning new things about the world . The word gender has such conflict about its definition that I feel it should be open for more discussion, or have multiple definitions to make up for the variations in opinions.
My mom, my sweet, gentle mom. My mom is like my sister, we love to talk about juicy stuff and love to share with each other what we did during the day. I don 't like to imagine myself without her because she is basically my life. She is caring and kind and always have a smile on her face when she sees me. When I say her name I get a picture of her in my mind.
