The three careers I chose to examine were IT Security Administrator, Forensics Investigator, and Obstetrician Gynecologist. I chose these careers because I discovered that the employment rates for these jobs are expected to grow at a faster than average 37% from 2012-2022. This is because data security threats are growing and with more digital technology rising, more organizations have become victims of cyber crimes. The other career is what I want to be. Internet Security Administrators, also known as computer security specialists, or Internet security specialists, protect computer systems against attack.
The book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee involves the adventures of Scout and Jem and the plenty of lessons they learned throughout. In the beginning of the story, Scout, just a mere 6 years old, was getting ready for her first day of school. On the first day she had such a wide variety of knowledge that she frazzled the teacher. Despite their knowledge, throughout the story Scout and Jem learn a heap of lessons that the world can also apply to their own lives. While there are countless differences between the time period of To Kill A Mockingbird and today, there are also numerous similarities.
There 's always the one question in life that gets asked, “What do you want to do when you grow up?” Even when students or adults are all grown up they still ask that question. The thing is, they will always question themselves, they will question themselves until they believe they accomplished their goals. Furthermore, finding a college without a certain career in mind is difficult. Even if someone does have their mind set on a career it’s still challenging, because they don 't know if that college is best for them.
I love working with and on computers. I find building one accomplishing and fun and it is the same with fixing them. I thoroughly enjoy what a computer has to offer and it seems like a good path to go on. I think it has good money in it and it is something I think I would enjoy for my life
What, As Americans Are We Entitled To In America today, people have created a cultural belief that they are entitled to something without having to work for it, or put forth any effort, people have become lazy, unethical, and lack basic morals. Our society has become self-absorbed, and have an all about me attitude, it’s about what people are entitled to as opposed to what should be gained by their own merits. Americans have forgotten what the true meaning of entitlement is, they are only entitled to the things that are described in the Constitution, which are your inalienable rights, but then in fact those are not just given they have to be earned. There are things that people are expected to do, and things that they should do without any reward, not saying that receiving
Witness Argument Imagine living in a town where you and your family were the only ones in this community that were not welcome. That is how Leanora Sutter and her father were in the story “Witness”. They lived in a small town in Vermont, in 1924. They were not welcome because they were African American. Leanora had a big role in this story although she was only twelve.
4. South Sudan is an independent country from Sudan. Sudan was plagued with major civil wars, and those in the Southern region of Sudan were targeted and attacked. Southern Sudanese were killed off in large numbers; many villages were raided. Those who weren’t killed or sold off into slavery had to make mass migration to surrounding countries- the most being allowed in Kenya in refugee camps.
In life I value success, balance, freedom, resilience and my well-being. These values will influence my career because, when choosing a career, it is important to have values. People who choose careers that are aligned with beliefs and values are more likely to find contentment and success in their
Equality. What is equality? Have a quick think about that. The dictionary says: the state or quality of being equal. But what does this actually mean to you and today in society?
Fake news - a phrase that is frequently emblazoned in the headlines. Scandals, false alarms, and of course, Donald Trump’s “fake news awards”. Clearly, fake news plays a huge part in American politics. But what many Singaporeans fail to realise is that fake news is also a pertinent, pervasive, pernicious and perennial problem in Singapore, and it is a problem that needs a solution. We define fake news as false stories that appear to be legitimate and are usually fabricated for political or financial gain.
Jack Mahler Mrs. Davis English 2 3/5/18 Fake News Imagine a world in which anyone can can access information instantaneously, now imagine that the people in this world that supply the information decide to use this power to spread lies faster than ever, now stop imagining because this world is actually our own. Now that the internet is more accessible than ever people are taking advantage of it to further their own agendas. A very recent example of this is pizzagate, a story about how a little pizza place in Washington DC was running a child sex ring in their basement and that the owner had a criminal record. This story was fabricated of course but the repercussions were awful. If fake news is going to continue to be a problem then we need to find a way to get people to stop people from buying into it.
Lying is against Deontologist school of thought because it is irrational when following the categorical imperative and it hijacks autonomous decision making. The maxim followed is: “Lying is always wrong”. We must consider what this means for an argument - when is it attractive to lie, but we still must refrain? It is attractive to lie when we feel like we are trying to help the situation by skirting around the truth.
Truth. People use this word almost everyday. And the question “What is truth?” dates back before Galileo, Plato, and Aristotle. People have tried to unpack the meaning of this simple five letter word and yet it has grown and become more complex than ever. There are of course different opinion that people say are truths such as, “I like that color.”
In our increasingly interconnected society, information could spread from one end of the world to the other in a matter of seconds, via the internet. The importance of accurate and unbiased information could not be overstated. The uncovering of the recent phenomenon - fake news - has caught the attention of many governments and organisations across the globe. Fake news is either news, stories or hoaxes that are created to spread misinformation with the sole purpose of deceiving readers in order to accomplish the author 's agenda (Hunt, 2016). The perpetuation of this fake news problem has created anxiety among politicians in free democratic societies.
My personal mission in life is to never give up, never give in, think outside the box, and to be myself. My personal motto in life is that faith, hope, and love are the three greatest gifts in life where love is the most powerful of all. With that in mind, I see myself living life to the fullest.
