What is art? Art can be represented through the use of anything from a painting to a photograph. In my mind art is the inside of the creator’s brain. It is a visual of what I am thinking, who I am, my views, my dreams, and my interests all complied into different works. My reasoning behind this is because even if I primarily enjoy drawing fashion sketches I believe you can feel my emotions through my work. Whether I am drawing an all black article of clothing representing my feeling of being sad or a favorite color that makes me happy. The great part about art is it can be made with anything, which is why I enjoy expanding my use of different mediums. I grew up loving watercolor because my grandmother has always been a watercolor painter. Ever since I was a young girl I would admire her paintings in her house and just be intrigued. At the young age of seven my grandmother gave me my first paint set and easel and I became obsessed. When I create a watercolor painting I do not necessarily make it in a structure way it. It is definitely not something that can be forced on someone, especially when I do not know exactly what I want to create yet. However, once I do know I can not stop; I get this rush of creativity that is unexplainable. I don’t think there has ever been a time when I have made something that I do not persistently work on even if I takes all night to finish it. However, I often do get spontaneous thoughts and ideas that I automatically have to act on, whether it be something simple that pops into my mind or a subject that I am very intrigue by, such as the overuse and need for social media in our world
