If it does not last forever, it is not love.
In the first exciting days of a mutual attraction, pulses race, knees go weak, butterflies fill stomachs, and a person soon realize what being in love feels like. But it is more than just a simple, normal feeling that someone feels every day. Love does, indeed, impact a person’s body in noticeable ways. Love has been described from multiple different sources as an intense, passionate feeling of affection. It is a warm, comforting feeling that overtakes a person’s body, and a significant feeling that most people crave to experience at one point or another. When the chemistry ends between two lovers, where did the love go? Did the connection just ware away gradually. People that chose to leave a serious relationship, most likely experience some type of a turning point, at which they realized the person they loved was not the right person for them. There's always a certain amount of idealization when two people fall in love. People tend to spotlight the positive in their minds and dismiss the negatives. People infer that the person they love is good for them, just because they love them. Idealization degenerates itself, however, when the relationship stops meeting the needs of both individuals and relationship begins to crumble (“What is Love? – Buddhism…”). The littlest things take on big importance and begin to feel unbearable. But this is where people are wrong. If two people truly do love each other, then that love never stops. Nothing can get in between it to jeopardize or separate the people; love is too strong. Although the joy and excitement in a relationship may not be as strong as it was in the beginning, the love never fades. If two people that love each other do decide to part their own ways or break up, the love still remains. It just gets buried under all the pain and sadness, but never disappears. We cannot see it anymore because it gets masked with all the anger and pain. Love is the ingredient to every relationship that makes the relationship so difficult. If some stranger were to reject a person, it would not hurt that much. But when the rejection comes from someone a person loves, it hurts because the feeling of love is too strong to ignore.
