What is truth? It is the realisation of revealing the authentic genuine state of a particular subject?
If so then how can we dictate whether something is true or false? How do we decide whether something is honest of nature or dishonest, take a written text for example, fables like Aesop’s Grasshopper and the ant, in their very nature are fiction narratives but underlie a truth to teach a moral lesson that can be applicable to reality. So, what is realistic text that evokes supernatural characteristics to seemingly come off as false or fiction? The question that I’m trying to entail, before it gets too confusing is that, if roles regarding true and false is easily manipulated, construed or switched around one another to the writer’s utilization. Now I’m afraid that this essay might wonder off into a space of super enlightenment and awareness that the actual contextual substance might come off as too wishy washy or, self-contradictory so I’m going to narrow it down and focus on a particular aspect of truths in text.
