Deindiviuation is defined as the loss of a person's sense of individuality and personal responsibility. An example of this term is the 2011 Vancouver Stanley Cup riot resulting in $5.36 million in property damage, 140 (1 critically injured, 3 seriously), and 0 deaths. The riot happened after the Vancouver Canucks lost the Boston Bruins in game seven of the Stanley Cup. Three factors why this happened and how it exemplifies individuation. 1.
